Hello from the Yukon. I lived in Dawson City for over 30 years. Met and corresponded with Jean King for many of those years. I noticed on this site that she was alive as in 2010....Can anyone give me her address etc if she is still alive. we lost contact when my family moved down here to Whitehorse Yukon ten years ago. The Palace Grand is our favourite Dawson attraction. I also have photos of Jean at the Palace Grand as well as the wonderful book she produced about Arizona Charlie...a huge research undertaking.

My great grandfather, Thomas Beach, used to tell us stories about his ancestors, including Arizona Charlie Meadows. When he passed away back in the '70s there was no one left to carry on the legacy of Charlies life. That's when his daughter (my maternal grandmother) Jean King, set about writing a book about Arizona Charlie Meadows. I believe she even visited the Palace Grand Theater. She also built a "saloon room" at her house that replicates one from the "old west" with Charlie memorabilia throughout. I've seen letters written by Charlie that are awesome. It's always nice to read about other relatives who enjoy the story as well. Thank you.
