The wash is two miles up Constellation Road and was described in the late Lee Pearson’s writeup of January 29, 2007. In this photo, my husband Ed is getting some welcome shade in this nice little cave! We are still somewhat active cavers, so enjoyed finding this one. Glenn Alessi, who was born and raised in Wickenburg, still has family here and spends the Christmas season here every year, visiting from his home in Italy. He maintains an excellent Facebook group called Way Out Wickenburg Way, where he and other current and past Wickenburg residents share old photos and stories about life in Wickenburg. Glenn and his brother put together this photo slide show of images they shot while in high school in the 1970s. He gave me permission to share it here.
